The TON token incentivizes proper decentralization of Plasma Chains. Operators deposit TON to launch a chain, with deposits increasing for correct operation. Challengers reporting issues can claim these deposits as rewards. TON also pays for Stamina, the transaction fee in Plasma Chains, which recharges over time and persists until withdrawn.
